Earlier today Dean “Rocket” Hall, the man/myth/legend behind the development of the standalone version of DayZ, announced via Twitter that the project has overcome a few server issues from last week and will begin issuing a very small amount of a keys to outside testers.
This announcement comes just a few weeks after the team displayed several new gameplay features via their developer blog, and the mysterious appearance (and removal) of the official game page on Steam. Perhaps the public will see the announcement of a much larger DayZ beta test in the very near future.
