According to a recent update from En Masse Entertainment, Founder Status will grant players the most amount of perks (without a monthly fee) but will be in shirt supply post launch. The reason for this is because once Tera launches, it will cease all digital sales of the game and that would mean that only physical box copies would remain to grant the player this account tier. Founder status lets you keep all your character slots and bank tabs, plus you’ll receive an exclusive mount and the “Founder” title.
This applies to anyone who has supported TERA with a purchase of the game (digital or physical).
When we launch, we will discontinue all digital sales of TERA, so any remaining physical boxes will be the only way to gain founder status.
Please check with your local retailer. Boxes will be available only while supplies last, and no new boxes are in creation.
It is worth noting that the best account tier is known as Elite Status which gives you double the amount of various perks but has less bank slots and no titles. It, however, will cost the player $14.99 a month.
